Hunt the Mid Caucasian Tur in the Caucasus Mountains with direct access to the premier hunting grounds. A pure high-mountain expedition, without intermediaries or hidden commissions, managed directly by the landowners.
Mandatory trophy for the SCI Capra World Slam. 2025 season closed with 99% success. Safety, premium logistics, and specialized guides in the Kabardino-Balkaria region.
Mid-Caucasian
TurThe Mid-Caucasian Tur (Capra caucasica) inhabits the central part of the Main Caucasian Range. We offer hunting in exclusive and privileged grounds located in the immediate vicinity of Europe's highest peak—Mount Elbrus.
Location: Privileged territories in Kabardino-Balkaria. The nearest hunting base is located only 2.5 hours away from the city of Nalchik, which ensures excellent logistics while maintaining the complete wilderness of the grounds and minimal hunting pressure.
The animals here behave more calmly, allowing for the harvest of outstanding trophies in a less stressful environment.
Duration: 7 full days (5 pure hunting days + 2 logistics days).
Difficulty: High. The hunter must be prepared for physical exertion at high
altitudes and shooting at steep angles at distances ranging from 220 to 380 yards.
Method of Movement: We use only specially trained Caucasian mountain horses, which
guarantee mobility in the most inaccessible areas, allowing you to conserve your energy for the
decisive shot.

The choice of trip dates directly influences the physical requirements and the animal search strategy:
The Tur is found at maximum altitudes, escaping heat and insects. During this time, large males gather in groups, although it is a period of frequent fog. Temperature: During the day, a comfortable 60°F...72°F (+15°C...+22°C); at night, it is cool (41°F / +5°C). Tactics: Depending on the situation, we may use lightweight tent camps (Fly Camps). Staying overnight directly on the ridges allows the search for the animal to begin in the first minutes of dawn; however, the decision to use tents is made by the guide based on the current location of the trophies.
Animals begin to form large herds. Optimal visibility. Daylight hours shorten, requiring more intense observation of the slopes. This period is considered the best for a more comfortable hunt. Temperature: During the day, 46°F...60°F (+8°C...+15°C); at night, light frosts down to 23°F (-5°C) are possible. Tactics: Optimal visibility. The recommended period for the best balance between performance and physical demand.
The most productive but most rigorous month. Males descend to lower elevations to meet the females, becoming less cautious. Temperature: During the day, around 41°F (5°C); at night, between 23°F and 14°F (-5°C to -10°C). Tactics: High probability of snow. Hunting becomes technically difficult due to icy slopes, but the chances of encountering a record male at an accessible distance increase to the maximum.
We understand that the transportation of firearms is the main concern for the international hunter. We offer two proven solutions:
Requires mandatory transit through Moscow. Our representative will meet you at the airport, assist with customs clearance, and process the temporary import permit. After this, you will travel together on a domestic flight to the Caucasus. We guarantee full legal support.
The most requested option for hunters from the U.S. This variant completely eliminates bureaucratic complications in Moscow and allows the expedition to begin one day earlier. You fly directly to Mineralnye Vody via Istanbul. We place at your disposal an arsenal of exceptional quality: rifles from world-renowned brands (Blaser, Sako, Steyr Mannlicher...) with high-end optics, perfectly zeroed and tested in extreme conditions.
Our Infrastructure: We have our own armored gun room, where your equipment is kept under 24-hour surveillance.
Arrival and meeting with the team. Transfer to a comfortable city hotel. Time to rest after the flight, equipment check, and introductory briefing during the welcome dinner. We insist on staying overnight at the hotel to ensure gradual acclimation.
Transfer in 4x4 off-road vehicles to the mountains (3–5 hours). Meeting with the gamekeepers. Ascent to the base camp.
The day begins at 4:30 AM. Movement by horse along proven trails. Once the animal is located, the final stalk begins on foot. Fly Camps are used situationally: if the trophy is in a remote area, we remain in the mountains to save time on descents and ascents.
Conclusion of the hunt, primary processing, and conservation of the trophy. Return to the hotel, where a hot shower and a celebration dinner in honor of the successful expedition await you.
Transfer to the airport and flight home.

In the event of a clean miss (absence of blood confirmed by the guide), we will continue the hunt to seek a second shooting opportunity during the remaining time of the expedition.
"Outstanding organization. We hunted 3 turs in the same trip and practically in the same area. The guides' work, territory preparation, and Real Hunt's management speak for themselves. I'll definitely be back."
Jorge Madrazo · Spain · 2025"On my first trip I couldn't hunt due to weather — we were stuck in camp for 5 days. The guys at Real Hunt offered me a return at no extra cost. I came back 3 weeks later and harvested the tur on day one. Great service, fully transparent, and they kept their word."
Augusto Palamar · Argentina · 2024"The Mid-Caucasian Tur exceeded my expectations. Perfect logistics out of Nalchik directly to camp. The terrain is unforgiving, but the guides know every step. The trophy is spectacular. Perfect organization from start to finish."
Klaus W. · Bavaria, Germany · 2024We are deeply committed to the principles of "Fair Chase". This imposes strict responsibility on the hunter:
We are not an agency. We are professional Caucasian guides and outfitters. You work directly with the organizers who own the grounds, know every slope, and are personally responsible for your success.
Our company manages territories exceeding 740,000 acres. We are the only company with our own bases and resources in all three key regions of the Caucasus simultaneously.
Our CEO, Marat, personally oversees the design of routes and the development of logistics maps for each combo tour. In the last three years, we have hosted more than 100 international clients.
The quality of our trophies is confirmed at an international level—we received two of the highest awards at the prestigious exhibition in Madrid.
46 expeditions in 2025 concluded with 100% success in locating the trophy (with 99% shooting effectiveness). Our success is your guarantee of confidence.
Our team is prepared to work with a wide variety of hunters. We have successful experience organizing hunts for archers (2024) and guests with extra weight, age limitations, or specific health issues (2025).
Result: The effectiveness of our combined tours in the 2025 season was 100% regarding the location of all target species.
